You’ve Booked a Private Travel Consultation!
Thank you for booking a consultation appointment – I can’t wait to talk to you!
I’ll check my calendar to confirm the time you’ve requested is suitable (don’t worry, 99% of the time it is).
Next, you’ll receive confirmation of your appointment in the form of a calendar invite.
Please check the time/date is as you expected. It will be in your time zone.
I use Google Meet for my consultations and supply the relevant link in the calendar invite. Please check your connection, microphone, and speakers in advance.
I can’t wait to talk with you soon!
⚠️ Your booking is not confirmed until you receive your calendar invite with the Google Meet link. Please note that I live in Paris, so if you are in a different time zone and make a request overnight, I won’t see your booking request until (my) morning.
PREPARE FOR YOUR CALL
How it’ll go down…
Your consultation will be customized to your specific needs, but as a general rule, this is what to expect from our time together:
What to Expect
A relaxed and comfortable conversation with Elisa, a local in France.
I aim to provide you with a selection of activities and attractions within a logical itinerary—all catered specifically to your interests.
I tend to talk quickly to fit everything in, but I’ll take good notes for you, which will be added to the wrap-up email that I will send you after the consultation.
What Not to Expect
A tight, time-bound itinerary – my goal is to give you options so you can pick and choose on the road. Your energy, the weather, and your overall budget will affect what you choose.
Please don’t expect me to have all the answers. I live in Paris, and I am knowledgeable, but I can’t know everything.
I’ll let you know if I can’t help with your specific query and will try to find a source for you.
How You Can Help
Think about what you want to get out of our call and how you like to travel – I’ll ask this at the start of our call.
Please ask questions throughout and be honest in your feedback – if I am making suggestions that aren’t a good fit for you, I want to know.
Let me know if anything I say doesn’t make sense or if we’re moving too quickly /slowly for you – it’s all about helping you plan the perfect trip!
Do you Have a Draft Itinerary?
There’s no need for you to have a draft itinerary – I also work with people who haven’t started formally planning.
However, if you’ve made a start on your itinerary, please share it with me before your consultation.
I prefer Google Docs – if you’re working in this format, please share it (editable) to bonjour@worldinparis.com
However, you can email us your editable document in any format.
If you haven’t started drafting your itinerary but want to, please make a copy of my template to use.
I look forward to talking with you soon! A bientôt, Elisa
