And Who is Behind World in Paris?
I am Elisa, the travel-passionate, quirky explorer and restless soul behind World in Paris. When not traveling the world, I am happy to explore Paris’s backyards and share my best findings in this blog.
I love traveling, arts & history, and wine, not necessarily in this order. I have traveled to more than 90 countries and still counting! In Paris, I love visiting museums and organizing new Paris walking tours and itineraries for the blog.
I live in the 19th Arrondissement of Paris, but you will most likely find me wandering around Ile de la Cité and the Latin Quarter or drinking a glass of wine in one of the quintessential cafés of Saint-Germain. My favorite site is Notre Dame Cathedral, and my favorite museum is the Louvre. I have to visit the Louvre at least once a year because I always find new things to see!
Right now, I am studying to become a French Wine Ambassador! I have already passed the first two exams, and I hope to get the diploma before the end of the year. You will find my French wine explorations in France Bucket List, my travel blog about France.
Unlike other travel blogs run by influencers or Instagrammers, I prefer to stay behind the scenes — you won’t find many pictures of me in the blog. But I am always happy to chat with you and answer your questions in my Facebook Group. In World in Paris, Paris is the star, and I am just the narrator.
I am not an anglophone, and despite my efforts, my English is not perfect. I apologize in advance for that, and I hope that all the first-hand information and local advice in this blog will compensate for the rest!
