Bonjour and welcome to my little corner of the internet. My name is Elisa, and I am a French travel writer and founder of World in Paris.
World traveler, bon-vivant apprentice, and French wine ambassador (not necessarily in this order), I live in Paris all year round, and I share my best findings, cultural events, and top tips in this blog and its weekly newsletter.
I also have a blog about France Travel and a very active Facebook Group for Paris and France travel. More than 100 users found my private travel consultations very helpful while planning their dream trip to Paris and France!
After working as an architect and later as a planning engineer for international projects, I decided to turn my blogs into my main job. For the past two years, I have been a full-time blogger, and I have written about Paris and France for top publications such as Make Time To See The World, Love and Road, and Travel Passionate.
In addition to my love for France and travel (I have visited 90+ countries and counting!), I like photography, history, and architecture. I also love French wine, and in 2024, I got the diploma of French Wine Ambassador of Ecole de Vins et Spiritueux in Paris. Currently, I am studying for the WSET exams also in Paris.
Unlike other travel blogs run by influencers or Instagrammers, I prefer to stay behind the scenes — you won’t find many pictures of me in the blog. In World in Paris, Paris is the star, and I am just the narrator, but I am always happy to chat with you and answer your questions in the Facebook Group or via private travel consultations.
What to Expect

World In Paris is a Travel Blog about Paris and beyond, 100% made in France. It is written by Elisa (me), a French travel blogger based in Paris, France.
My local perspective, knowledge of the French language, culture, and costumes, and the constant feedback on what matters to you via the travel consultations and Facebook group have helped me create a Paris travel blog that is useful, updated, and inspiring.
