What’s NEW for Christmas at Disneyland Paris 2026
This year, Christmas at Disneyland Paris comes with many new experiences and festive surprises you won’t want to miss:
World of Frozen, along with many new experiences, opened on March 29 within Disney Adventure World, the reimagined second park at Disneyland Paris. For the first time, Christmas celebrations will take place in both Disneyland Park and World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World. For the exact location of each entertainment offering, download the free Disneyland Paris app.
The Arendelle Carollers are the merriest celebration in World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World. Sing along with the Arendelle Carollers and share the warmest festive moments with friends from the kingdom!
Also for the first time, you’ll have the chance to enjoy Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff meet-and-greets. While many characters wander around the parks at different times and on different days throughout the season, some Character Encounters require joining a Virtual Queue. You can join the Virtual Queue through the Disneyland Paris mobile app on the day of your visit, after your ticket has been scanned at the Park entrance, subject to availability. Check the Disneyland Paris app for the list of characters available to meet during your stay.
Elisa’s Tip: The Virtual Queue is another reason to book your stay at one of the Disney hotels. Thanks to Extra Magic Time, you can access the Virtual Queue one hour earlier than general visitors.
Disney Village is getting a new look: early September, Disneyland Paris opened Disney Wonders. This new store will bring together the worlds of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars, with movie-inspired details to spot everywhere from the facade to the chandeliers.

Disneyland Paris at Christmas time is a place full of wonders and lasts for nearly two months! The Disneyland Paris Christmas 2026 dates go from 7 November 2026 to 6 January 2027.
The Christmas season is one of the busiest times at Disneyland Paris. To find the best days to visit and avoid the biggest crowds, check out this Disneyland Paris Crowd Calendar.
The first thing you need to do is buy your Disneyland Paris Christmas tickets as soon as possible. Since November 2024, ticket prices for Disneyland Paris vary according to demand. As with flights and trains, the earlier you book, the more likely you are to find lower prices.

If all of that sounds ideal for your next holiday, then here’s a list of the best things to do in Disneyland Paris at Christmas time:
1. Disneyland Paris Christmas Market (Disney Village)
There are so many things you can do in Disneyland Paris at Christmas time that it will be hard to choose! One of the best places to visit is the Disneyland Paris Christmas Market, located in the Disney Village.
You’ll find the Disney Village between the theme parks and the Disney Hotels, just out of the train station.
During Christmas, the Disney Village is festively decorated and turned into a cozy Christmas Market with wooden stalls where you can buy food, Christmas sweets, and souvenirs.
You don’t need a park ticket to visit the Disneyland Paris Christmas Market, which is why it’s especially popular with locals from the surrounding area during the holiday season.
Elisa’s Tip: For me, it makes sense to visit the Disneyland Paris Christmas Market as part of your Disneyland Paris Christmas holidays, but I wouldn’t travel from Paris to Disney Village just to see the Christmas Market. If you’re in Paris at Christmas time, the Christmas markets in Paris offer a more festive and entertaining experience.
2. Disneyland Park
Disneyland Park is divided into five themed lands: Main Street USA, Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland, and Discoveryland. Everywhere, there are beloved Disney characters you can meet during the meet-and-greet. You’ll also find many roller coasters in all shapes and sizes.
At Christmas, Disneyland Park becomes a winter wonderland with many decorations, the spectacular Christmas tree in Town Square, and the Disney Characters dressed for the season.
Venture into Disneyland Park, watch the snowflakes fall on Main Street USA, and follow the Christmas lights until you reach the Sleeping Beauty Castle. Have fun on the best Disneyland Paris rides for children and adults. When it’s time to eat, go to one of the many restaurants, cafés, and bars to enjoy unique seasonal food and drinks.
3. Disney Adventure World
World of Frozen, along with many new experiences, opened on 29 March 2026, within Disney Adventure World, the reimagined second park at Disneyland Paris.
This is Disneyland Paris’ biggest expansion in many years, preceded by an impressive marketing campaign.
While the former Walt Disney Studios did not have dedicated Christmas shows, this year, for the first time, Christmas celebrations will take place in both Disneyland Park and World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World. Share warm winter hugs and celebrate Christmas the Arendelle way in World of Frozen.
Elisa’s Tip: More than ever, I recommend purchasing a combined ticket for the two parks so you can celebrate the Arendelle way in World of Frozen and enjoy all the Christmas magic at Disneyland Park.
4. Disneyland Paris Christmas Parade Times
Christmas at Disneyland Paris is filled with events and Christmas-themed entertainment such as the Christmas Parade.
Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade is a must-do of Christmas at Disneyland Paris: five gigantic floats featuring Mickey & Friends, Disney Princesses, Santa Claus & Tinker Bell, and more characters parade each day inside Disneyland Park.
Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade takes place twice a day. As night falls, the second parade will light up, adding an extra dash of magic.
The Disneyland Paris Christmas Parade times may vary depending on your visit date, so check the daily schedule on the Disneyland Paris Mobile App the day of your visit. Of course, Santa Claus himself will be at Disneyland Paris, before and during the Parade!
5. Other Seasonal Shows in Disneyland Paris
The magic of Christmas doesn’t stop there! To get into the Christmas spirit, stop by the musical show “Let’s Sing Christmas!” at Videopolis Theater (Discoveryland), where Mickey and the other beloved Disney characters take the stage and sing some Christmas carols several times a day (the showtimes have not been published yet).
Christmas is also the perfect time to step into fairy tales. This year, the Disney Princesses gather for the enchanting show Disney Princesses Holiday Season Celebration: a magical waltz performed at the foot of Sleeping Beauty Castle (Fantasyland) once per day (check out the showtime on the Disneyland Paris Mobile App the day of your visit).
As evening falls, visitors will gather on Town Square for the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, accompanied by the beautiful voices of a live choir and appearances from Mickey and friends (check out the showtime on the Disneyland Paris Mobile App the day of your visit).
Meet the Disney Characters
During your visit, you will find many characters in their festive costumes wandering around the parks at different times and on different days throughout the season. Don’t hesitate to ask them an autograph or a selfie – they’re all very kind and friendly.
Some Character Encounters, however, require joining a Virtual Queue. You can join the Virtual Queue through the Disneyland Paris mobile app on the day of your visit, after your ticket has been scanned at the Park entrance, subject to availability. Check the Disneyland Paris app for the list of characters available to meet during your stay.
Alternatively, you can also ask a Cast Member at the entrance of the Character Encounter to join the Virtual Queue, but I don’t recommend this option.

6. Disneyland New Year’s Party
The holiday celebrations at Disneyland Paris don’t stop at Christmas. The Disneyland New Year’s Eve party is a unique event that will make your visit unforgettable! That day, the Disneyland Park will be open until 1:00 a.m.
At midnight, the sky behind Sleeping Beauty’s castle lights up with dazzling fireworks in the presence of all the Disney Characters dressed up for the special occasion. There will be other special activities too.
Dining at Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris parks offer many options when it comes to food and dining! During summer, you can have a picnic in the park; however, it’s too cold to do it in winter. So it’s essential to know the different dining options and to book your favorites well in advance.
Inside the parks, you’ll find table-service restaurants, all-you-can-eat buffets, quick-service restaurants, and snack bars.
Table service and all-you-can-eat restaurants are very popular, and you should reserve your table in advance. All the restaurants in Disneyland Paris are Disney-themed, and during the holidays, special Disneyland Paris Christmas food can be found everywhere: winter velouté, stuffed poultry with chestnuts and cranberries, hot chocolate, and more.
The easiest way to book a table in one of the Disneyland Paris restaurants is to download the official Disneyland Paris app and make the reservation with a click. Alternatively, you can contact Disneyland Paris customer service, or once you arrive, through the reception desk at your Disney Hotel or the restaurant directly.
There are dining options outside the parks as well, inside the Disney Village. One of my favorites is Rainforest Café: you’ll feel immersed in the Amazon forest, surrounded by lush nature and animated animals. At Rainforest Café, you can choose between the classics of American cuisine and modern proposals that will delight the whole family.
Vapiano is where I go for good pasta and pizza (and a break from Disney decorations).
Extend the Magic – Book Your Stay at a Disneyland Paris Hotel
For a unique Christmas experience, consider booking one of the Disneyland Paris hotels. It’s a great decision if you want to enjoy all the magic of Christmas in Disneyland Paris and the Disney night shows until the very last minute, or if you want to visit Disneyland Park and the Disney Adventure World.
Each hotel has leisure facilities, such as pools, fitness centers, and spas, with a corner designed to entertain kids. You can also find Disneyland Paris Christmas decorations in the hotels and there’s a Disney Character Meet & Greet once a day.
Last but not least, hotel guests can enjoy extra time in the park (known as Extra Magic Time) by entering the parks before the general opening.
