Disneyland Paris is one of everyone’s favorite destinations when visiting Paris in December. There are several ways to travel to Disneyland Paris. Whether by plane or car, the following is all the information you need to know to organize your Disneyland Paris Christmas holidays.
If you want to travel to Disneyland Paris from abroad and there is no train travel option, you can fly to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) or Paris Orly Airport (ORY), the two closest airports to Disneyland Paris.

Christmas in Disneyland Paris – Things to Do

If all of that sounds ideal for your next holidays, then here’s a list of the best things to do in Disneyland Paris Christmas 2024.
1. Disneyland Paris Christmas Market (Disney Village)

There are so many things you can do in Disneyland Paris at Christmas time that it will be hard to choose! One of the best places to visit is the Disneyland Paris Christmas Market, located in Disney Village.
You’ll find the Disney Village between the theme parks and the Disney Hotels, just out of the train station.
During Christmas, the Disney Village is festively decorated and turned into a cozy Christmas Market with wooden stalls where you can buy food, Christmas sweets, and souvenirs.
To visit Disneyland Paris’ Christmas Market, you won’t need to buy tickets to the parks, which is why Disneyland Paris’ Christmas Market is usually very popular with locals at Christmas time.
2. Disneyland Park

Disneyland Park is divided into five themed lands: Main Street USA, Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland, and Discoveryland. Everywhere, there are beloved Disney characters you can meet during the meet-and-greet. You’ll also find many roller coasters in all shapes and sizes at Disneyland Park.
At Christmas, Disneyland Park becomes a winter wonderland with many decorations, the spectacular Christmas tree in Town Square, and the Disney Characters dressed for the season.
Venture into Disneyland Park, watch the snowflakes fall on Main Street USA, and follow the Christmas lights until you reach the Sleeping Beauty Castle. Have fun on the rides for children and adults (check out this list of the best rides). When it’s time to eat, go to one of the many restaurants, cafés, and bars to enjoy the Disneyland Paris Christmas food and drinks!
3. Walt Disney Studios

The Walt Disney Studios is the incredible park of Disneyland Paris where the worlds of Disney, Pixar, and MARVEL come alive. There are so many fantastic adventures for children and grown-ups at Walt Disney Studios, from the Toy Story Playland to the Finding Nemo area, where you’ll find the Crush’s Coaster attraction.
The Disneyland Paris Christmas season is an excellent time to visit Walt Disney Studios Park for the beautiful decorations all around the park. The Disney Pixar and Marvel characters are all dressed for the magical season and create an enchanting atmosphere that you’ll love!
However, Walt Disney Studios doesn’t have special shows during Christmas. If you want to visit Walt Disney Studios, I suggest purchasing a combined ticket for the two parks so you can also enjoy the Disneyland Paris Christmas parade and other Christmas activities in Disneyland Park.
4. Disneyland Paris Christmas Parade Times

Disneyland Paris at Christmas time is filled with events and Christmas-themed entertainment. Here are the Disneyland Paris Christmas parade times based on Disneyland Park’s closing time at 10:00 p.m. Some weekdays, Disneyland Park may close earlier, and the shows and parades are rescheduled. Please refer to the free Disney app for the rescheduled times for these days.
- Let’s Sing Christmas!: 11:40 a.m., 2:10 p.m., 3:10 p.m., and 4:10 p.m.
- Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade: 5:20 p.m. and 7:10 p.m.
- Disney Electrical Sky Parade 10 minutes of a drone show before the Disney Illuminations
- Disney Illuminations Show:10 p.m. on weekends (at closing time on some weekdays).
These times might change due to weather conditions. You can follow eventual updates on your Disney app.

To get into the Christmas spirit, stop by the musical show “Let’s Sing Christmas!” where Mickey and the other beloved Disney characters take the stage and sing some Christmas carols several times a day: 11:40 a.m., 2:10 p.m., 3:10 p.m., and 4:10 p.m. Let’s Sing Christmas show is located at the Hyperion Café (next to the Buzz Lightyear attraction) in Disneyland Park.
Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade is another must of Christmas at Disneyland Paris: five gigantic floats featuring Mickey & Friends, Disney Princesses, Santa Claus & Tinker Bell, and more characters parade each day inside Disneyland Park. It takes place at 5:20 p.m. and 7:10 p.m. and is most spectacular when the sky is totally dark.
Another not-to-be-missed event during Christmas in Disneyland Paris is the Holiday Gathering, when Mickey and his friends meet at Town Square for a joyful gathering. This happens at 2:45 p.m. and lasts 10 minutes.

5. Disneyland New Year’s Party
The holiday celebrations at Disneyland Paris don’t stop at Christmas. The Disneyland New Year’s Eve party is a unique event that will make your visit unforgettable! That day, the Disneyland Park will be open until 1:00 a.m.
At midnight, the sky behind Sleeping Beauty’s castle lights up with dazzling fireworks in the presence of all the Disney Characters dressed up for the special occasion. There will be other special activities too.
Dining at Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris parks offer many options when it comes to food and dining! During summer, you can have a picnic in the park; however, it’s too cold to do it in winter. So it’s essential to know the different dining options and to book your favorites well in advance.
Inside the parks, you’ll find table-service restaurants, all-you-can-eat buffets, quick-service restaurants, and snack bars.
Table service and all-you-can-eat restaurants are very popular, and you should reserve your table in advance. All the restaurants in Disneyland Paris are Disney-themed, and during the holidays, special Disneyland Paris Christmas food can be found everywhere: winter velouté, stuffed poultry with chestnuts and cranberries, hot chocolate, and more.
The easiest way to book a table in one of the Disneyland Paris restaurants is to download the official Disneyland Paris app and make the reservation with a click. Alternatively, you can contact Disneyland Paris customer service, or once you arrive, through the reception desk at your Disney Hotel or the restaurant directly.

There are dining options outside the parks as well, inside the Disney Village. One of my favorites is Rainforest Café: you’ll feel immersed in the Amazon forest, surrounded by lush nature and animated animals. At Rainforest Café, you can choose between the classics of American cuisine and modern proposals that will delight the whole family.
Vapiano is where I go for good pasta and pizza (and a break from Disney decorations).
Extend the Magic in One of the Disneyland Paris Hotels

For a unique Christmas experience, consider booking one of the Disneyland Paris hotels. It’s a great decision if you want to enjoy all the magic of Christmas in Disneyland Paris and the Disney night shows until the very last minute or if you want to visit Disneyland Park and the Walt Disney Studios, which I highly recommend.
Each hotel has leisure facilities, such as pools, fitness centers, and spas, with a corner designed to entertain kids. You can also find Disneyland Paris Christmas decorations in the hotels. Besides, hotel guests can enjoy extra time in the park (known as Magic Time) by entering the parks before the general opening.
The following are my favorite Disneyland hotels, all of which offer free shuttle buses to reach the two parks.
