Charles de Gaulle Airport interior is a bit complex. Before starting listing all the Paris CDG airport transfer options, we suggest having a look at CDG Airport Map to find your bearings.

As you can see on the Charles de Gaulle Airport map, CDG Airport has three terminals, located in three different buildings: Terminal 1 (T1), Terminal 2 (T2), and Terminal 3 (T3) so it is important to know where are you landing /taking off in Paris. You can check your terminal on your flight ticket and boarding pass.

Click here to view CDG Airport Map

» Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 are connected by the CDGVAL, a free Paris airport shuttle (automatic metro) working every day from 4 am to 1 am.

» Terminal 3 is a bit isolated. From T1 or T2 you need to take the CDGVAL and then there is a bit of walking outdoors (around 5 minutes). To reach the Terminal 3 building you need to go through a bus terminal and cross a road and then a tunnel but the path is very well marked.

» Terminal 2 is the biggest terminal in Charles de Gaulle Airport. Terminal 2 is divided into T 2A, T 2B, T 2C, T 2D, T 2E, T 2F, and T 2G.

» You can move through the different parts of T2 on foot (2 to 5 minutes walk). However, there is a free shuttle (bus N1) linking A, B, C, and D.

» Terminal 2E is quite long and it is divided between Hall k, Hall L and Hall M. There is a free Paris airport shuttle (automatic metro) which links these three halls.

» All terminals T2 are located in the same building except T 2G, which is in another building. You can reach T 2G with a free shuttle (bus N2). Bus N2 works every day from 5 am to 11 pm, and it has two departure points:

  • From T 2F – the shuttle station is located at door #2, at the departures level
  • From T 2E – the shuttle station is located at door #16, at the departures level

OUR TIP: If your flight leaves Paris from terminals 2E or 2G allow extra time. We almost lost one flight because of the shuttle transportation time!
