Your Paris Bucket List
Bonjour, welcome to DAY 4!
During the last three days, we did all the hard job, and now it’s time to have some fun and think about what you are going to do in Paris. It is time to work on your Paris Bucket List.
In Paris, there are so many cool things to see & do that choosing what to do in a few days can be overwhelming! We will try to help you with that.
How is the Perfect Paris Bucket List
» In our opinion, a good bucket list for first-timers in Paris combines some of the top things to do in Paris with lesser-known activities.
» It does not include more than 3-4 things to visit per day, and it has some space for improvisation.
» It allows time to relax or to do just nothing (e.g. a longer lunch in a nice bistro, coffee + people-watching in a Parisian cafe, etc)
» It is a good idea to combine different kinds of activities: historical sights, arts, food & wine tours, nice meals and perhaps a night show.
» Try to combine indoor activities with outdoor activities (parks, walks …), to enjoy the city and get some fresh air.
» It is a good idea to have in mind a couple of ‘back up’ indoor activities for those rainy days in Paris.
» If your stay in Paris is longer than 3 full days, consider a side trip to explore the surroundings of Paris.
Tips for your Paris Bucket List
» If you want to visit many tourist attractions, consider a Paris tourist pass. These passes can be money savers (you need to do the math), and they all come with skip-the-line tickets.
» Most people book the tickets to Paris attractions, activities, and guided tours a few days in advance. This is works for most of the activities but not for the top tourist attractions: tickets to the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, or the Moulin Rouge might be booked out months in advance.
» Sites like Versailles need a full day to get the most out of it.
