Don’t miss the musical and water shows in the Gardens of Versailles! Versailles is one of the best places to visit in Paris in June, and during the summer, you can also explore the most secret grooves (usually closed in wintertime) and admire the Versailles Fountains in full swing.

Until 2022, this event usually took place on the first Saturday of October, but the City Council voted to move it to the first week of June (this year on Saturday, 1 June 2024) when the weather is better.

This cultural festival is a great opportunity to enjoy Paris at night. During the Nuit Blanche, contemporary artists take over the City of Light from dusk till dawn, inspired by a common topic: huge artworks, light installations, sensory experiences, and a great atmosphere for a night to remember.

On 21st June, Paris celebrates the longest day of the year and the beginning of summer with a music festival, La Fête de la Musique. From the afternoon until late at night, expect many concerts on the streets, cultural centers, or some bars’ terraces.

I particularly like to celebrate the Fête de la Musique in the Latin Quarter the area between the Panthéon and Place de la Contrescarpe in Paris’ 5th Arrondissement is always a fun place to be , but it’s a great soirée everywhere in Paris!
