Paris Planning Challenge DAY 5 – YOUR PARIS PACKING LIST

Welcome to Day 5!

Now that you have written your Paris Bucket List, it’s time to think about the Packing List!

Don’t worry: we don’t want you to decide what to wear in Paris weeks, perhaps months, in advance. We are talking about a list of a few travel essentials, not a detailed packing list. Like this, if you are missing something important, you still have time to buy it before you leave.

Today’s task

Let’s make a list of 4-5 travel essentials for your trip to Paris. Be sure you have everything on the list already. If something is missing, buy it. You can complete the rest of your Paris Packing List a few days before your departure.

» It is important to use good luggage, which is durable and with the maximum comfort. If you don’t have one yet, we recommend a Delsey Helium Aero, offered in hardside and softside for all your travel needs. Delsey Helium Aero comes with double spinner wheels to keep weight off your arm, convenient and secure packing, and a TSA-accepted lock to keep your things safe. If you think that you will end up buying a couple of French wine bottles, it is better to use a wine suitcase to be sure your wine gets home without any problem.

» Main travel essentials for visiting Paris:

  • a pair of comfortable shoes
  • a pair of jeans /comfortable pants or skirt
  • 2 tops
  • 1 light jacket /1 coat (depending on the season)
  • a day bag /backpack. We recommend an anti-theft travel bag

» Are you traveling from overseas or from the UK? Don’t forget your universal travel adapter or your dual voltage hair dryer

» Consider the duration of the trip, weather, activities you will do in Paris and the type of accommodation. For us, packing cubes and a foldable bag are a life saver!
